Tabatha Murphy Makes 2012 Season Debut at Brockville Ontario Speedway

It may not have been the start she was looking for, but Tabatha Murphy was happy to get back to the track and begin her 2012 racing season at the Brockville Ontario Speedway on Saturday.

After a successful practice session a week earlier, Tabatha was ready to get going for 2012.  The night began with practice, and she really struggled trying to get the car handling.  The team made several changes before going back on the track for the qualifying heat races.  She struggled again in the heat race, with the same handling issues that hindered her performance in the practice session.  After making even more changes to the car before the 25 lap feature event, Murphy would roll off the starting grid from 14th place.  The dry slick track conditions made it tough to pass, and a car that continued to handle poorly resulted in an opening night result of 14th. ...[read more]
